Crane's Water Party

On Sunday. we went to Mike and Heather Crane's coming home party. They had a big water slide in the backyard for all the kids to play in. Brooklyn and Jackson both get in the pool and promptly go under the water. So, Richard being a good sport decides to get into the pool in his clothes!

Somewhere in all the fun, Brooklyn wants to slide down like the big kids. Richard starts to take her up the stairs and slips. He falls down about 3/4 of the way up and takes out several small children on his way down. Luckily he didn't hurt anyone! So he tries again!

Brooklyn had so much fun that they went down the slide a few more times.

Heather with 4th (and final son?) - Issac Thank you, to the Crane's for inviting us to your party! We had a lot of fun! Brooklyn was so worn out that she slept the entire way home and then an additional 3 hours when we got home! (Sweet!!!)

Happy Birthday

For Brooklyn's 2nd Birthday, we went to the Houston Zoo. As soon as we pulled up to the parking lot, we realized it was going to be a crazy day! There were so many buses and the parking lot was almost completely filled.

We decided to start indoors. We stopped by the aquarium and saw Nemo, Marlin, and Dorie.

Then we walked around to the snake, small mammals and then African Exhibit.

Brooklyn got to play tribal drums. She enjoyed making music!

We then rounded the corner and saw the chimps and the giraffes.

Then sleeping Jonathan the Lion.

The new exhibit also has two new baby elephants.

Our little girl is growing up! It is amazing how fast time is flying by. It feels like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital and now she is two. I am afraid to blink again....

Never the less, this is our little girl! What a cutie!!!

2nd Birthday

Before everyone got to the party, Brooklyn and Pops played with bubbles in the backyard.

Then Brooklyn went in and changed into her Party Outfit!

When Pawpaw came to the party he brought Brooklyn her very own house! It has a doorbell, bay windows, a phone, a picnic table, sink and stove. It took 4 guys to carry it over the fence!

After the kids had time to play, we broke open a pull string pinata. Gavin was the winner, but no candy fell out. So upon closer inspection all the candy was in the head, because the bottom of the head was taped together! In genius!

So, Mommy had to tear off Abby's head and rip off the 5 inches of tape. I am pretty sure I scarred a few children for the rest of their lives!

Mike and Heather Crane along with their four children were in town from Jordan, and they were able to join us!

Here is the cake that Mommy made! Delicious white cake with Raspberry filling!

Then we opened up presents. Brooklyn received a "yee-haw" Jessie Doll from Mrs. Hogan and a puppy from Wednesday.

Leaving The Nest

We are suffering from empty nest syndrome. Ja-chel and Jackson came over last night and saw the doves, when I went out this morning they were gone! They had flown the cope. Later, when I took Bo out to go potty, I could only find one baby hanging out on the fence. He could fly well enough to get onto the fence, but he was pretty wobbly.

I miss our babies, I wish we could have more! It was so much fun watching them grow!

Pirates in Diapers

Jachel and Jackson came over for fajitas and then a little water fun. Richard's parent bought Brooklyn a water table for her first birthday. She is finally old enough to use it. However, no all she wants to do is climb inside and hangout with the toys.

Jackson's diaper swelled up so much we were worried it might explode!!

What a little Cutie!! Now she calls herself a pywit (Pirate)!
