Aunt Vanessa did not come prepared to swim! But, she was pushed in anyway!
 We ate pizza and cupcakes!

Graduation

We arrived at the Reliant Arena at 9:00 in the morning, along with 9,000 other people!
The ceremony didn't start until 10:00 and Richard had the daunting task of saving 10 seats with Brooklyn, by himself. After listening to a long-winded speech given by a nun named Sister De-De, which included approximately 56 points, I finally received my unofficial diploma!!!

After the ceremony, we went to Spaghetti Warehouse! Since, my sister-in-law was also graduating at the same time my in-laws were unable to be there. My sister also had to photograph a wedding. But, my grandparents, Aunt and Uncle, brother, and brother-in-law were all there to celebrate with me!
Thank you, Harley for making me change your diaper TWICE while we ate lunch!
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end! Brooklyn had been wonderfully behaved during the ceremony, however, lunch was a different story! These are the only photos that she would let me take!

Here is the cookie cake that I made!

To my family: Thank you so much for taking the time to celebrate with me!
To my parents and In-Laws: Thank you for watching Brooklyn and letting out Bo, so that I could attend classes while Richard was at work!
To my Husband: THANK YOU, for being so supportive and for reading my papers when I was brain-fried! I could not have done it with out you!

I now am the proud owner of a MASTER'S degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
I graduated with a GPA of 3.97. I was so mad that I had one class with a A-, all the others were A's.

Baywood Park

After Saturday night dinner, we walked down to the neighborhood park.

Harley was showing us his new sign language skills! "I" or "Eye", we're not really sure which one!

Brooklyn and Uncle Bobby had a blast climbing on the jungle gym and swinging! Bobby almost broke the swing set. It made such a horrible creaking sound that we were afraid it would break at any moment!

Yes, this was quite awkward for all of us! None the less, it was absolutely hilarious. It took him about 1 minute to work his way down the slide.

Brooklyn is growing up SOOOOOOO quickly!!! We were in the car on our way to dinner and Brooklyn started singing her ABC's. It brought tears to both of our eyes!

(Sorry for the bumpy video, we were in the car!)

Richard had to work on my Birthday. However, he still surprised me for sending a beautiful bouquet of lillies and roses to my school. Afterschool, Ron and Wanda took me out for dinner at Gringos!

What a wonderful way to spend my birthday!

Easter at The Wollard's

Later Easter afternoon, we went to my parent's house. Brooklyn got to hunt eggs for a 3rd time in one day!

After Brooklyn found all the ggs, we went inside and told the True Meaning of Easter through the clues found in each Easter egg. (That was my sister's idea!)

What a wonderful way to spend time with your family!

Easter at The Veltman's

On Saturday, the night before Easter we dyed eggs, baked easter mini-Minnie cookies, and made bleach-pen shirts (or tried to)! Turns out that to correct bleach a shirt, it must be 100% cotton! Live and Learn, Better luck next time!

We (Me and Brooklyn, Richard's Parents, Carissa, and Nicki -Carrisa's Boyfriend) went to church on Saturday night!
We came back from church and dyed eggs, and finished our bleach-pen shirts.

Brooklyn was so excited to dye eggs for the first time.
Unfortunately, every egg she touched she broke. We had more eggs with cracks or crushed, than not.
 Here is our final result!
The next morning, Brooklyn found the Easter basket that the Easter Bunny left. We then went outside and found eggs left y the Easter Bunny.

That afternoon, we had lunch at the Veltman's and had an Easter Egg hunt and Confetti Egg War!

Before the egg hunt, Brooklyn found an caterpillar! We had recently been reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". SHe was so excited to see a real caterpillar.

We headed outside and let the festities begin!

Some people (Vanessa) gave up looking for eggs!

After we counted all the eggs, each person received one carton of confetti eggs and were told the only rule is you must break the egg in your hand and not on the person!

Some people (Richard and Devin) acted like it was war, rather than a game!
