Children's Museum

On Tuesday, Gigi, Da-Da, Mommy, and Brooklyn went to the Children's Museum. There were so many kids, but she managed to squeeze her way and play with the big kids!
Here is a little bit of what we did!
We built and knocked down a bridge!

Stacked blocks!

Made a cube out of linked blocks!

Talked on a Giant Robot made out of phones, and video chatted with mommy on the other line!

Patiently watched a volunteer make a kazoo!
Then didn't know how to work it!
We scaled up a wall, with a rope and pulley system. Gigi did most of the work.
And, when Gigi got tired, Brooklyn tried to take over!
We rode in an old mustang...Mommy got stuck in the back seat!
Had the life sucked out of Mommy, from a GIANT Tick!
Looked at leaches with a magnifying glass! Do you see Sherlock Holmes in Brooklyn's future?
 Watched chicks hatch!
Rolled golf balls (NOT chicks) down a roller coaster tube. We stayed here for a long time watching her roll golf balls, over and over again!
We bought groceries at the local HEB, and rode in an Ambulance!

Da-Da took a much needed break! She is one week from meeting Harley!

Oh, the fun we had at the museum! Now, all we need is lunch and a nap!

Park with Jack-Jack

We started off our Thanksgiving Holiday by playing at the park with Jackson. League City has an amazing public park!! The kiddos had a blast!

Jackson teaching Brooklyn how to drive!

Brooklyn's attempt at sliding gracefully!

After they played on the swings Brooklyn went to play in the fountain! She was reaching so far, that she looked like she was going to fall in!

Brooklyn and Jackson playing "Drop it like its hot!" or who can fall down without really hurting their bottom the worst!

They were so worn out! After 45 minutes, we headed home for a nap!

Mom's Birthday

We had dinner at our house for my mom's birthday. We ate homemade Chicken Carbonara and cake!
Once again, Brooklyn had to wear her Princess dress and Crown. No event is successful without a Princess in attendance!
Brooklyn joined Uncle Mark in her cardboard castle for playtime!

Here starts the fun! My mom wanted to take a picture with Brooklyn:
Here is attempt # 1 - Silly face!
Attempt # 2: Oopps!!! She licked the cake!
I guess the cake was just too close and too tempting not to sneak a lick! Or, was the point to claim this part of the cake...Of course, no one will eat after you have licked it!
 Attempt # 3: Perfection!

And, here is Aunt Da-Da and March!
Both are ready to celebrate Harley's Birthday!

Park

Today, we went to park and played on the swings and slide. Brooklyn had so much fun!

She is so silly! She refused to look at me or say cheese! So, these are the funny memories we have! Her giggling, trying not to say cheese! - Oh, POOR MIMI... Brooklyn left her in the stroller all by her lonesome! That's a first, Mimi never leves Brooklyn's side or hands!

Princess

On Sunday, my sister helped Brooklyn get dresed for church. She put her in beautiful purple dress, black shoes, and headband. Some where in the course of getting dressed Linda told Brooklyn she looked like a beautiful princess with a crown. For the next week, all we have heard is Princess or Dress and Crown. She wears it all the time, the only time she allows us to take it off is when she goes night-night or eats! (At least she wants to be a clean Princess!!)

Our Little Princess!!!

Richard's Birthday

Happy Birthday, Richard!
For Richard's birthday we ate at Rudy's Barbeque and ate Rise Cupcakes!

Brooklyn was so excited when we opened up the cupcakes. She tried to eat an entire cupcake by herself.

To my husband, I hope that you had a wonderful birthday and many more to come!
