Danbury

The Hunt Clan invited us to their annual Thanksgiving Holiday Bash to The Lodge in Danbury. We had a blast making crafts, picture frames and Christmas Wreaths. We had a blast hanging out and relaxing! We had so much junk food, that I swear we gained 20 pounds from that weekend alone!
Brooklyn spent the entire weekend glued to the piano. She loves to make music. Blake decided to be her mentor and help her turn pages and make beautiful noise!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving Day at my Parents House. My mom and sister created a beautiful harvest themed table scape.

Halloween

We started off the night by carving pumpkins: Mommy made Elmo, I made Minnie Mouse, Aunt Linda made an owl in the night, and Uncle Mark made Stewie.

Pumpkins

On October 8th, Brooklyn and I visited the Froberg Farm in Alvin with some friends from work and their daugthers. We wanted to see a pumpkin patch, instead we found a room full of pumpkins. Needless to say, the pumpkin trip was a bust, but we picked up tasty fresh fruit and barbeque!

Bayou Wildlife Park

On September 5th, we visited the Bayou Wildlife Park with our BFF's Ja-chel and Jax! We had so much fun. We got to pet the giraffes and take a tram ride on a wild adventure.
Our trip started with cramming 6 people into Richard's truck. Normally, that wouldn't be too uncomfortable, but with 2 car seats and about 12 inches for two adult women, it was tight fit! So, I sat on the floorboard until we reached the park. On the way into the park, you drive along a long straight road, where animals can come up to the car and you can feed them out of the buckets of feed. The first animal that we encountered were the Ostriches... we pull up and Richard rolls down the window. They come right up to the car and peck madly at the food. Food was flying up in the air and all over the car. At which point, Brooklyn thinks her daddy is being mauled by an ostrich and she proceeds to scream bloody murder. Well, that makes the ostrich freak out and he pecks at the food more vigorously. Needless to say, we were doubled over with laughter and had to quickly roll up the window!
Me and my bff, Jax!

Ok, that's creepy! There's no way that's real! Funny fact, I remember seeing that here when I was a kid. Which means it's really old!! Hints the five pounds of dust caked on it!

Here begins the tram ride...

So, we bought 6 buckets of food! I think we were intent on feeding every animal there. Well, halfway through the tram ride, I get my first chance to feed the animals. Up walks this camel, and she proceeds to knock the food out of my hand! Yes, I was the only one who dropped the bucket of full. Did I mention, it was completely full! (That stinks!!!)

On the way back around the loop, the camel decided to make up for knocking the bucket of food from my hands!

Am I cool or what? We'll I should say, Am I hot or what?

Alright, I think I've had enough! Nice time to catch a quick nap!

Thanks, Ja-chel and Jax, for sharing in an unbelievable day of fun with us!

Fashion Statement

What's wrong? ... is there something on my head?...
What are pants? You mean they don't go on my head?

Brooklyn loves putting her clothing her on her head. She would rather wear her clothing on her head, than wear it correctly!

Here's to you Brooklyn! Make a fashion statement!

Playing around the house

Brooklyn loves to play with the airplane that Uncle Bobby got her. She also loves to pull the musical ladybug around the house. When you pull the ladybug, the music plays faster. She loves to try and make the music speed up!
