Major Milestones

In the two weeks that I was able to spend with Brooklyn, over the Christmas Holidays, she passed several major milestones.
  • December 22nd - she took her first moves toward crawling and By Christmas Day, she was cruzzin'
  • December 28th - We found her first tooth (on the top, left.)
  • December 30th - She started pulling her self up in her crib

It really is crazy how fast she is growing. I was looking at her 1 month photos and she looks so different!

Jackson and Brooklyn Exchange Gifts

On Christmas Day, Jackson came over to open presents with Brooklyn.
Here are a few pictures of their date!
Brooklyn was really interested in Jackson's present!
Jackson got Brooklyn a "Kickin' piano"!

Santa has LANDED!

Santa arrived sometime during the night, when we were all fast asleep. Brooklyn enjoyed tearing the wrapping paper off her presents! Here are some pictures of Brooklyn's first Christmas and Our First Christmas as a family!
Brooklyn was taking a little too long for Bo, so he decided to be a good Big brother and help chew off the wrapping paper for her!

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS

IS MY TWO FRONT TEETH!

Somebody decided to be like her Big brother and chew the paper!
Merry Christmas, Brooklyn! We hope that you enjoyed your first Christmas as much as we did! We love you so much and look forward to MANY, MANY more!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with the Veltman's. We ate Chicken Spaghetti, YUM!! After eating dinner, we opened gifts and then played Mexican Train Dominoes.
Here are a few pictures of our family and our Christmas Eve-xtravaganza!

Visit with Santa

Jachel (Jarod and Rachel Hunt) talked us in to seeing Santa at Baybrook Mall. Two hours after our crazy adventure, we got one photo with Santa that cost $32. (Wow...Santa is making a killing. I guess that's how we get FREE presents every year.) As bored as Jarod looks, we did have a good time!
Because it was dangerously close to Brooklyn's nap time, I was so afraid that her photo would be horrific. However, it wasn't that bad!
What's Wrong...Not having Fun!

Thanksgiving, but CLOSER to Christmas

I know that we are now closer to Christmas than Thanksgiving, but here are photos of Brooklyn's 1st Thanksgiving. Richard had to work, so we stopped by his station!
I think Brooklyn is ready to drive her daddy to work!
Every year, we play Rummikub!! It's so much fun!
Brooklyn looks like she needs to eat more prunes!!

Ready to Crawl

Brooklyn is so close to crawling. On November 1st, she started pulling her knees up. Now, she has started rocking back and forth. She is beginning to move one leg at a time, just an inch! Put every move is PROGRESS!! This is my brother!

Cute As A BUG!

A Lady Bug that is...
Brooklyn made her parents take her Trick-or-Treating to the neighbors house. After many tears and complaints that everyone else gets to go, We finally gave in!
Ok, I lied. I bought her costume in August as soon as the Halloween costumes arrived on the shelves. When it finally got dark, it was well past her bedtime. In fact she had already been asleep for 2 1/2 hours. So you can imagine the complete disappointment she had when I woke her up to go trick-or-treating. She couldn't have cared less, but Mom was the one who had the most fun!
Here are the TWO houses that we went to. Meet Our neighbors!
